Hailing from Brooklyn and spending a lot of time recording in California, Adam Alyan is a recording artist and R&B singer who gives listeners a glimpse into his unique life experiences. As a singer and sound engineer for X22 Sound and Flame Elevation, a developmental service company, Alyan has familiarized himself with the recording process. This includes having studied music production at Full Sail University.
His latest album titled “Love. Thyself” was written during a time that Alyan describes as a self-love journey, a sentiment that is echoed throughout the five track EP. Touching on issues that many are plagued by including depression, failed relationships and general difficult times, Alyan uses his album to convey a sense of what he endured as an individual. Believing that one cannot begin to heal others unless they first confront their demons, Alyan shares his own message about overcoming life’s challenges on the album. To Alyan, “Love. Thyself” represents the feeling of experiencing an act of love, and then using that experience to provide value to one’s life. The upbeat yet introspective nature of his music captures a sound representing his personal experiences that fans can relate to.
Recorded in a home studio using Pro Tools, Alyan uses several recording techniques to enhance his already strong vocal performance, and instrumental mixing that creates a tone for each track.
