USA Verdict

One of the best musical artist from West Oakland’s Suppa Ant – The Interview

Hello Suppa Ant! How are you doing these days?

I’m fine. Thanks for asking.

First of all, thank you for being with us. So, let’s start at the beginning. How did you get into music?

I started making music at the age of 13. My older brother influenced my music. He raped, and he knew it well, and from then on, I wanted to be a rapper again. I just loved music from the jump.

Do you look back with love, especially on any memories from childhood?

Of course, that was not always easy. It won’t be easy, and only the strong will survive. I had to win a lot. Living a street life has been one of many things, and I still win stuff to this day.

From the moment you get your spark, what motivates your music?

My biggest passion for my music is my mom. I grew up with four brothers and a single mother and watched my mother fight and go through a very dark time and come back like a nap. That makes me want to give him the world because he has tried to provide us with his best.

What is the most challenging topic you have ever written about?

Honestly, nothing I write about comes directly from the heart, so it is not difficult to write about it if it is pure and accurate.

What is the most outstanding achievement you have ever had?

The most outstanding achievement made by iv, I would say, was the day I graduated from high school. My teacher told me that if I came back late, I would not graduate, so I went to his classroom every morning with donuts and coffee.

Can you give our readers a background for your music?

I look back on the day I watched my mother walk around the house holding a candle because our electricity was off, and I never wanted her to go through that again. That moment let me know that I should have been the most important person in life. Not only myself but my mother and family should be happy.

Are you planning to release new music soon?

Of course, I am. I have a lot of new music that I’m working on, and I have a lot of music that I haven’t released yet.

What’s next for you?

The next thing for me is to keep going hard and chasing my dreams and being number one on the hot pay board 100 in one day.
